Abstract
Using pyridinated ammoniacal silver nitrate and Protargol impregnation, the author characterized the infraciliature of two nyctotheran ciliates from the gut of anuran Amphibia from Quebec. On this basis, he proposes a morphological redescription and taxonomic revision of Nyctotheroides parvus (Walker, 1909) n.comb. and the creation of a new species, Nyctotheroides deslierresae.
