Abstract

Embryogenesis was induced in anthers of two cultivars of B. campestris L. cultured on a modified B5 medium of Gamborg and co-workers (1968). Analysis of mature plants derived from the embryoids revealed the presence of diploids and polyploids. It was, however, demonstrated that the plants were derived from pollen.
