A nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopic study of some tri-sulfide bridged ferrocenes

Abstract

The synthesis of some new [S3]-bridged aminoferrocenophanes is described. The 1H nuclear magnetic resonance spectra of these compounds are completely assigned and are discussed in terms of the stereochemistry of the tri-sulfide bridge. In addition 13C/1H correlation spectra of one of the derivatives are presented to illustrate the complete assignment of the 13C spectrum.
