Abstract
Patatin, the major protein of potato tubers, was copurified with lipid acyl hydrolase (LAH). The common identity of LAH and patatin was demonstrated by sodium dodecyl sulfate denaturation studies, isoelectric focusing, and the inhibition of LAH activity by patatin antiserum.
