Abstract

Abnormal, but spontaneous development of sexual organs in fissiparous specimens of Fonticola morgani is noted and described. The phenomenon is compared with similar abnormalities which have been noted in European populations of Dugesia gonocephala s.1., for which a genetic basis has been established.
