Abstract
Nonperturbational and perturbation–iteration procedures for determining constrained Roothaan–Hartree–Fock wave-functions are described and compared. The perturbation–iteration procedure most rapidly converges, the secant-parameterization method requires less computation and is less sensitive to numerical errors.
