Some results from small stars of nuclear emulsion at 24 GeV

Abstract

The analysis of 400 stars with 2 ≤ Nh ≤ 7 has been performed to investigate the emission characteristics of protons, deuterons, tritons, and slow pions produced in interactions of 24 GeV/c protons in nuclear emulsion. The [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] distributions of these particles have been experimentally investigated. The dependence of [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] on the shower multiplicity, the angle of emission, and mass of the particles has been studied.
