Abstract

In this work Lα and Lβ X-ray fluorescence cross sections and their relative intensities ILβ / ILα were measured for the elements La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Yb, and Lu using a photon energy of 15.20 keV. Reasonable agreement is obtained between the present experimental results and the theoretically calculated values of L X-ray cross sections and their relative intensities.
