Isothermal Compressibilities of Aqueous Solutions of Tetraalkylammonium Bromides

Abstract

The standard isothermal apparent molal compressibilities, [Formula: see text] of tetraalkylammonium bromides in water at 25° were calculated from known standard apparent molal adiabatic compressibilities, [Formula: see text] expansitivites, [Formula: see text] and heat capacities, [Formula: see text] is significantly different from [Formula: see text] and depends mostly on the extrapolation procedure used to obtain [Formula: see text] and on the precision of [Formula: see text]
