Abstract
The structure of sense organs associated with papillae and elsewhere in the tegument, found on the scolex of Monoecocestus americanus (Cestoda: Cyclophyllidea), is described. These organs consist of a basal bulb containing one or two electron-dense collars, mitochondria, and an apical cilium.
