SUR QUELQUES ANOMALIES DU SPECTRE DE ROTATION PURE DU FLUOROFORME DANS UN ÉTAT VIBRATIONNEL EXCITÉ

Abstract

An interpretation is given for various anomalies reported by C. C. Costain concerning the rotation spectrum of CHF3 and CDF3 in the excited vibrational state ν6 = 1. These anomalies are related to an essential resonance between levels K = 0, [Formula: see text], and K = ± 2, l6 = ±1, this resonance being accidentally strong, particularly in the case of CDF3.
