Abstract
A vaccine made from vole bacilli killed by ultraviolet light has been shown to confer a significant degree of protection against experimental tuberculosis in guinea pigs. The degree of protection was comparable to that obtained from BCG. The results of this single experiment suggest that further work on this material should be carried out.
