Abstract
Two new plastoquinones have been isolated from the brown alga Desmarestiamenziesii. The structures of these metabolites have been elucidated by spectral analysis. Keywords: Desmarestiamenziesii, brown algae, Desmarestiaceae, plastoquinones, spectral analysis.
