Recovery of Protease Activities from Complexes with α-Antitrypsin

Abstract

For the first time, substantial trypsin and α-chymotrypsin activities were recovered from their α1-antitrypsin-inhibited state. This was achieved by treatment of the α1-antitrypsin–protease complexes with sodium dodecyl sulfate.
