Abstract
The augmentation κ of the classical Thomas–Reiche–Kuhn dipole sum rule for A = 3 nuclei is calculated using the Laverne–Gignoux bound state wave functions previously obtained by solving the Faddeev equations in the coordinate representation. Values of κ are in overall agreement with the published results of Drechsel and Kim, which, however, display a distribution at variance from our results.
