Abstract
A sculpin collected from Portugal Cove, Conception Bay, Newfoundland, is found to represent a possible hybrid between Myoxocephalus scorpius and Myoxocephalus octodecemspinosus. Investigation of meristic, morphometric, and anatomical criteria suggests that the specimen has closer affinity to M. scorpius than to the other species but in most respects is intermediate.
