Electron spin resonance spectra of 15N labelled amino radicals

Abstract

Electron spin resonance (e.s.r.) spectra of radiolytically formed 15NH2 and 15ND2 radicals are presented along with their hyperfine splitting constants and spectroscopic g factors. A comparison with previously observed spectra of 14NH2 and 14ND2 is briefly discussed and their hyperfine parameters revised as a result of our 15N data. Miscellaneous observations on the effect of additives (water, methyliodide, tetranitromethane) are discussed.
