Abstract
An attempt is made to examine the characteristics of clusters in 340 GeV π− – A interactions. Results reveal that the maximum number of relativistic charged particles constituting a cluster is four and the cluster size is independent of the target mass. Finally, the cluster size is observed to be insensitive to the identity and energy of the colliding hadrons for energies ~ 50 GeV and beyond.
