Abstract
The formation and decomposition of the molecular complex between solid urea and n-octane vapor, in the presence and absence of initiators, has been studied by a variety of techniques. Suggestions are made for the possible mechanism of this heterophase reaction incorporating known structural and thermodynamic data.
