The study of multiplicity characteristics and reduced entropy of particles produced by hadrons (70–400 GeV) and heavy ions (2.1–4.5 GeV)

Abstract

This paper presents an analysis of the multiplicity characteristics in nucleus–nucleus (n–n) and hadron–nucleus (h–n) interactions in different pseudorapidity bins in terms of a new variable defined as the reduced entropy. The data includes n–n interactions (2.1–4.5 GeV) and h–n interactions (70–400 GeV). The data reveal some interesting features that have not so far been reported.
