Abstract
The silylation of 2-oxa-7,7′-dichloronorcarane has been studied. According to the reagent (Me3SiCl/Li/THF or MeSi3Cl/Mg/HMPT), we observed significant differences in the reactivity, and silyloxabicyclonorcaranes or silylhydrooxepines were obtained. The influence of solvant and experimental conditions is discussed. Key words: silylation, hydrooxepine skeleton.
