Abstract

The spectrum of tellurium was observed in the region 150-2100 Å on 10.7 and 6.65 m normal and grazing incidence spectrographs. The source used was a triggered spark. All the levels of the 4d85s and 4p54d10 configurations and all the previously unknown levels of the 4d85p configuration in the Te VIII have been established. One hundred and seventeen additional lines have been classified in this spectrum. The 4d96s configuration in the Te VII was established and 25 additional lines have been classified. Parametric-level-fitting calculations were carried out for both spectra and they support the analysis.
