Abstract
Summary
Fractional-flow analysis based on foam-coreflood data and the "limiting-capillary-pressure" model presents a simple, approximate way to predict diversion in foam matrix acidization. Preliminary results show that the greatest diversion is obtained when foam is preceded by a surfactant preflush and is followed by an acid slug compatible with foam.
