Abstract
Objective
To obtain the major benefits of having a long open hole completion with maximum multiple reservoirs contact, full control and optimization over the flow without coil tubing intervention have become a challenge for the operators. This paper presents a step change in the engineering for optimizing oil production across multiple reservoirs by deploying the first mono-bore smart completion technology with four inflow control valves, swell packers and permanent downhole gauges across an open hole horizontal reservoir drain of 4,600 feet in ADNOC Group Fields.
