Health Problems and Physical Activity Levels of Individuals with Chronic Diseases During COVID-19 Lockdown

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to investigate through the Omaha System (OS) the health problems and physical activity (PA) levels of the individuals with chronic diseases during COVID-19 lockdown and related factors. Method: A descriptive-correlational design was used in the study. The research sample consisted of 182 individuals who had chronic diseases and were in home isolation. Personal information form, “Omaha System Problem Classification Sheme (PCS)”, and “International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ-Short Form)” were used to collect data. Results: The rate of individuals having insufficient PA was 57.7%. The most common health problems in PCS were nutrition, oral health, sleep and rest pattern.
