Evaluation of Response of Hetero-core Fiber Optic Surface Plasmon Resonance Sensor to Corrosion Process of Aluminum Thin Film by NaOH Solution

Abstract

Using a hetero-core fiber optic sensor deposited with Au/Ta2O5/Al multi-layer, the corrosion process of Aluminum by NaOH solution was detected with transmission light in three different pH solutions, three different thicknesses of Al thin films.
