Abstract

We demonstrate 16-ch 1060-nm bottom-emitting metal-aperture VCSEL array for co-packaged optics transceivers. The transverse-control and bandwidth-enhancement is realized thanks to coupled cavity. A record bandwidth and fiber distance product of 250Gbps · km is obtained.
