Integrating a fibre cavity with an ion trap for scalable quantum computing

Abstract

Integrating optical micro-cavity with ion traps is essential to achieve interconnection between ion traps, which is a promising approach for scalable quantum computing. Here we demonstrate some of the key technologies required for this purpose.
