Characterizing the spatiotemporal correlations of bright entangled quantum states of light using classical methods

Abstract

We classically model parametric down-conversion as a difference-frequency generation of the pump and a stochastic vacuum field. We then experimentally characterize the output fields produced in the high-gain regime using only intensity measurements.
