Enhanced complex amplitude modulation for displaying high quality holographic content

Abstract

A novel technique to code a complex computer-generated hologram into an only phase only hologram (PoH) is presented. The new PoH allows high energy efficiency from informative diffractive order and large frequency support. This enables increasing brightness and resolution of reconstructed images.
