Visible and NIR Spectrum-simulation Light Source Facilitates Hyperspectral Imaging Applications

Abstract

A spectrum-simulating light source covering 380nm to 1100nm, powered by a laser driven light source, is proposed to facilitate HSI applications. Key parameters examined include spectral resolution, out-of-band suppression, and the flexibility in spectral manipulation.
