Abstract
To meet the requirements for multi-species gas analysis, quartz-enhanced photoacoustic spectroscopy (QEPAS) is used in combination with a QC-based external cavity laser system. Especially high scan rates are of great importance for the analysis and monitoring of multiple species in a sample, where the composition can change rapidly. By integrating piezoelectric actuators extremely high sampling rates can be achieved. In this work, results on the detection of multiple trace gases by sequential quasi-simultaneous measurements are presented. The requirements of multi-species detection, widely tuning range, fast switching, and low-cost system are met by our work.
