Floquet–Bloch Oscillations in Photonic Lattices

Abstract

We propose a general theory concerning optical Bloch oscillations in photonic Floquet lattices and report the first experimental demonstration and visual observation of the Bloch-like oscillations, which are termed the “Floquet–Bloch oscillations”.
