Active Mode Conversion based on Cascaded Intra- and Inter-modal Four-wave Mixing Effects

Abstract

We present an active mode conversion without parasitic wavelength conversion, by the use of cascaded intra- and inter-modal four-wave mixing (FWM) effects. The crosstalk between LP01 and LP11 mode conversion is below -7.0 dB.
