Single Polarization, Single Mode Solid Antiresonant Fiber

Abstract

We report an all-solid antiresonant fiber design possessing broadband, single polarization, fundamental mode light guidance with a high birefringence of 1.3×10−4 and polarization dependent loss exceeding 10 dB/m over >300 nm bandwidth.
