PPLN-Based Polarization-Diverse Phase-Sensitive Amplification of 96-Gbaud PDM-PCS-64QAM Signal with Carrier-Phase-Locked Phase-Conjugated Twin Waves

Abstract

We demonstrated non-degenerate phase-sensitive amplification (PSA) of a 96-Gbaud PDM-PCS-64QAM signal. Phase-conjugated twin waves (PCTWs) with a polarization-independent carrier phase provided low-noise PSA of a 2.5-dB black-box noise figure without polarization tracking of the PCTWs.
