Abstract
The intra-cavity second order nonlinearity of a Bragg-reflection waveguide laser (BRW laser) was used to generate a second harmonic signal that serves as seed for injection locking the BRW laser. The exact phase-matching inside the BRW allows for the generation a second harmonic signal directly in the laser cavity. The subsequent injection locking results in a phase-coherent signal at the second-harmonic frequency of the master laser with a power 23.19dB higher than the second-harmonic signal from the unbiased unlocked device.
