3 THz Frequency Synthesizer with Hz Stability

Abstract

We use a 10 GHz electro-optic frequency comb and a 300 GHz dissipative Kerr soliton to synthesize a 10 MHz clock reference to 3 THz with an out-of-loop instability starting at 8 × 10 − 13 at 1 second.
