Abstract
The discovery of materials that show superconductivity at a temperature above the boiling point of nitrogen1 has generated a flood of interest in the area of high temperature superconductivity. The large change in resistance of a superconducting sample at its transition temperature makes it appropriate for analysis by thermal modulation techniques. Studies are presently being performed on the YBa2Cu3O7 and Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O classes of high temperature superconductors.
