Abstract
In this study, it was aimed to evaluate the opinions of university students on distance education and to examine their satisfaction with the application. Participants are consisted of 2224 distance education students who attend to common and compulsory courses in a university located in Southeast Anatolia Region in Turkey. At the end of the study, it was concluded that participants found that distance education courses in general were interesting and the fact that they took courses via distance education was effective in their learning. Additionally, it was found that students stated that it is advantageous to take common courses via distance education. In the study, it was concluded that the relationship between students' ages, computer use levels and daily computer use time and satisfaction factors was very low, positive and significant.
