Abstract
Ventricular arrhythmias (VAs) are common in clinical practice, occurring in patients with structural heart disease, hereditary arrhythmia syndrome, and individuals with normal heart structures. Different types of VAs have varying effects on patients, some with good prognosis, while others can cause significant palpitation, syncope, or even sudden cardiac death. To help primary care physicians better understand VAs, improve diagnosis and treatment levels, and reduce the mortality rate associated with VAs, the Chinese Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology and Chinese Society of Arrhythmias have organized domestic experts to write the “Chinese Expert Consensus on Primary Care of Ventricular Arrhythmias.” We hope this consensus document will help promote the standardized diagnosis and treatment of VAs by primary care physicians in China.
