Abstract
ABSTRACT
Graves’ disease (GD) is a condition of autoimmune etiology presenting with hyperthyroidism, ophthalmopathy, and dermopathy. Other conditions with autoimmune etiologies have been described in association with GD. Acute inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy as a cause of acute onset proximal weakness has been elucidated in a few handful of case reports. Here, we present an interesting case of GD with characteristic features of ophthalmopathy, dermopathy, and acropachy, presenting with complaints of acute onset proximal weakness.
