Abstract
ABSTRACT
Postpartum genital tract adhesions are unusual. They can be labial or vaginal adhesions and most of the time, require surgical intervention. Genital tract trauma, lacerations, and unsupervised delivery have been a few known causes of such adhesions. Here, we report a case of vaginal adhesions following difficult labor that presented with dyspareunia for 1 year. Pelvic examination, ultrasonography, and MRI revealed vaginal stenosis. The patient was successfully treated with surgical adhesiolysis and administration of antibiotics.
