Disseminated Borrelial B Cell Lymphocytoma in an Adult – Report of a Rare Presentation

Abstract

Lymphocytoma cutis is a subtype of pseudolymphoma due to benign B cell lymphocyte infiltrate that occurs as a response to known or unknown antigenic stimuli. Borrelia burgdorferi infection rarely causes either T cell or B cell pseudolymphoma that occurs primarily in Ixodes ricinus tick endemic areas and most commonly in children. Hereby, we report a 46 years old female who presented with multiple red raised lesions over the face and the neck and was diagnosed as a case of Borrelial B cell lymphocytoma in an adult which is a rare entity.
