Abstract

ABSTRACT The COVID-19 pandemic has become a major global issue. Several millions of people died from the infection all around the world. According to the researchers, patients with severe mental illness should be addressed because they are a vulnerable group with medical and socioeconomic risk factors for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 infection, morbidity, and mortality. At this time, there is no argument about the importance of vaccination for people with underlying mental problems, but vaccine management remains a concern. In this brief study, the authors summarize and review COVID-19 vaccination in individuals with underlying mental disorders.
