Lymphangioma manifesting as corneoscleral cyst: A rare case report

Abstract

An 11-year-old male patient reported with whitish, progressively growing swelling in his right eye for 2–3 months. A cystic lesion was present involving the intrastromal layers of the cornea, extending through the limbus into the adjacent sclera. There was no systemic involvement. Surgical excision of the lesion revealed it to be a continuous intracorneal and intrascleral cyst. Histopathology confirmed it to be a benign lymphangioma-capillary hemangiomatous lesion.
