Abstract
Exophiala is a rare fungal organism causing a variety of ophthalmic manifestations, including keratitis, scleritis, and endophthalmitis. In this report, we present a rare case of a 51-year-old female who presented as retinochoroiditis. A pigmented, dimorphic fungus known as Exophiala werneckii was isolated from the aqueous and vitreous samples of the patient. The patient underwent multiple injections of intravitreal voriconazole, following which she improved clinically. This case report demonstrates a unique presentation of this rare causative organism.
