Abstract

ABSTRACT Alopecia areata (AA) is an autoimmune disorder leading to nonscarring hair loss of the scalp and/or body. Atypical hair regrowth in AA is considered a rare phenomenon. Many paradoxical forms of hair regrowth have been described in AA. Targetoid hair regrowth pattern in AA was first described in 1988. Here, we report three cases wherein this pattern of hair regrowth was seen.
