Abstract

Abstract Medical practitioners have a unique role and responsibility in medication administration. Most of the time, they are the last person to check to see that the medication is correctly prescribed and dispensed before administration. The correct route of drug administration is crucial and the wrong route of drug administration is a treatment failure and can also lead to patient morbidity and mortality. We report a case of accidental intra-arterial injection of diclofenac sodium, its complications, and management.
