Abstract
ABSTRACT
Glomus bodies are highly specialized arteriovenous anastomoses that are responsible for thermoregulation by regulating the blood flow. Glomus tumor consists of vascular channels and glomus piles separated by connective tissue stroma. Approximately, 75% of all tumors occur in subungual tissues of fingers. Glomus tumors in foot are uncommon. We report a case of glomus tumor in a young male who is having pain in the left great toe since 5 years duration. For diagnosis, MRI and excisional biopsy were done. After excision of tumor, the complaints of the patient were relieved.
